True, Many say that 3" is over kill which is most likely true (1.5 liter per/ 3" pipe) and it possibly slows down the exhaust velocity due to its larger diameter. But It gives a great very powerful sound in the higher RPM's when boosting. I have 3" Random Tech Stainless DP's, 3" Random Tech Stainless Test pipes, 3" B&B tri-flow Quad oval exhaust. And I could not have made a better choice (my personal opinion). Anyone that lives near me and is contemplating on what exhaust set up to get. I wil be glad to let you hear it on my Z.
